ZeroGap Technologies LLC ("ZeroGap", "we", "us", "our") is registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and operates the platform at zerogap.online. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our platform.

Information you provide directly:

• Registration details: name, email address, company name, country, phone number
• Platform content: material requirements, bid submissions, product listings, specifications
• Documents uploaded: specification sheets, brochures, and trade documents
• Communication: messages sent through the platform's messaging system
• Payment information: billing details processed securely through our payment partner

Information collected automatically:

• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of access
• Device information: device type, operating system, screen resolution
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)
• Usage data: features used, search queries, time spent on platform

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account and verify your identity
• To operate the procurement engine — matching buyer requirements with supplier bids
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send transactional emails: bid notifications, deal awards, account confirmations

We do not use your information to display third-party advertisements. We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.

ZeroGap is a two-sided procurement engine. Certain information is shared between buyers and suppliers as part of normal platform operations:

• Free plan buyers: See bid prices only. Supplier identity is not disclosed.
• Premium plan buyers: See supplier name, company, and country when reviewing bids.
• All suppliers: Can view buyer requirement details (material, quantity, location, specifications). Buyer personal identity is not disclosed.
• Awarded deals: Both parties receive each other's contact details necessary to complete the transaction.

We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform. Each is bound by their own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, database, and cloud storage services
• Cloudflare: Website hosting, CDN, and security services
• Payment processor: Secure card and bank transfer processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Google Translate: Optional language translation service (activated only on user request)

We do not share your data with any third parties beyond those necessary to operate the platform.

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure hosted in the European Union (region: eur3). We implement the following security measures:

• All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS)
• Database access is restricted through Firebase Security Rules — each user can only access their own data
• Passwords are never stored in plain text — Firebase Authentication handles all credential management
• Access to administrative functions is restricted to authorised ZeroGap personnel only

While we take every reasonable precaution, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

ZeroGap uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform and improve your experience. Types of cookies we use:

• Essential cookies: Required for login sessions, security, and core platform functions. Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. Can be declined.
• Preference cookies: Remember your language selection and display preferences. Can be declined.

When you first visit ZeroGap, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner. You may accept all cookies or reject non-essential cookies. Your preference is stored and honoured on subsequent visits. You may change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser data or contacting us.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information via your profile settings
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing of your data for analytics purposes

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain transaction records.

Transaction records for completed deals may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and financial compliance purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
